  • Please Note : Urgent care/Walk-in Clinic is for our existing patients only.  These clinics are operated on a combination of appointment and first come, first Serve basis.
    We may stop taking patients earlier than stated closing times due to the number of patients already checked in and in waiting room. If your situation is urgent please go to your nearest Hospital Emergency room .

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call as soon as possible.

For advanced access bookings we ask that you cancel at least two hours prior to your appointment time.

For appointments booked further in advance for such things as preventative health checks, childhood vaccinations or diabetes checks, we expect at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.

If you do not cancel as above, a charge of $25/regular visit or $50/preventative health/well baby/diabetes check will be charged. This policy helps ensure that other patients can use the appointment time.

Missed Appointments with Interdisciplinary Team

If you need to cancel an appointment, please call as soon as possible. We expect at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.

If you miss an appointment or do not cancel as above you will receive a phone call alerting you to your missed appointment. Should you miss a second appointment, you will receive a letter alerting you to your missed appointment and reminding you that a third missed appointment will result in suspended services of the interdisciplinary health professionals (excluding physicians) for one year.

You may still book appointments with your physician. This policy helps ensure that other patients can use the appointment time.

Non-OHIP costs

There are a number health services that are not covered by OHIP such as most forms, travel vaccinations, sick notes, or notes required for insurance companies. If you are unsure if a service is covered, please call ahead to discuss with reception.

Receipts will be given for insurance and tax purposes. Please note that only CASH is accepted.

There is a list of these services and associated costs posted in reception as well as the waiting room; the list is based on the Ontario Medical Association 2012 Uninsured Forms and Services suggested minimum fees.
